W4C CYBERSECURITY CONFERENCE
A landmark European assembly, bringing together industry experts, policymakers, and emerging talent to address digital resilience, AI, and the cybersecurity workforce development.
Women4Cyber, is a non-profit European foundation working to strengthen Europe’s cybersecurity resilience by supporting more women to enter, develop and progress in the cybersecurity sector. The Foundation hosted its annual high-level cybersecurity conference in Brussels. The flagship event took place over two days on 15 and 16 September at the Royal Library of Belgium. The landmark event featured a range of sessions, fireside chats, and panels exploring topics, including AI, digital sovereignty, and cyber resilience. Sponsors of the conference include Atos, AWS, Google, 50×2050, Eye Security, ISACA, Allurity, BNP Paribas, Nokia, Secida, Cordaata, Cybalgoris, OSPHERA, RBJ Consulting and Services, and SolutionLab.
“It always amazes me how many brilliant people there are across the Women4Cyber community, and how powerful it is when we are able to bring so many of them into one room. The conference is really the moment when our community comes together. This year, with around 250 participants, +40 nationalities, 35 fantastic speakers and so many of our Chapters represented, you really see the strength behind what we do. That community is the real force behind Women4Cyber and behind our work to strengthen Europe’s cybersecurity resilience,”
Saskia Brugman, Strategic Partnerships & Activities Coordinator at Women4Cyber Foundation.
Recent ISC2 findings (2026) surveyed cybersecurity professionals perceived women as representing 10% or fewer women on their cybersecurity teams. Against this backdrop, the upcoming conference plays an important role in dismantling workforce barriers, and building sustainable pathways for women to enter and thrive in European cybersecurity.
By bringing together around 250 stakeholders, the Brussels conference created new opportunities for collaboration, professional exchange and career development. The outcomes and partnerships established during the conference this year will set the groundwork for ongoing initiatives leading up to the annual Women4Cyber Cybersecurity Conference in 2027.
