Through this initiative, we offered scholarships and support to empower 1000 women to successfully complete the Google Cybersecurity Career Certificate, equipping them with the necessary skills to confidently enter and thrive in the cybersecurity workforce.

“After being rejected from different bootcamps due to requirement’s criteria, I thought It would be impossible for me to find the support to be able to get into the industry. Luckily, I found the organisation Women4Cyber and it really is life-changing. The course is well organised, flexible, easy to follow and very practical which makes me more confident to succeed in the interview process. The project includes a free mentorship programme that helps you navigating through the struggles of learning new skills. I’m currently taking the course and I’m feeling very positive about the future and the new opportunities in Cyber Security. I encourage everyone who is new to the tech industry to apply. It’s beginner friendly and you have a tons of support programmes as well as practical activities and very interactive courses.”

TESTIMONY
One day, I came across a post about Women4Cyber online,
and I thought to myself, ‘That’s
what I need, let’s give it a try.’ At first, I thought
I would fail or hate it, but the more I explored and
learned, the more certain I became that this was
exactly what I always wanted to do! On top of
that, I was surrounded by women from diverse
backgrounds, which made me realize that no
matter what you’ve been through or where you
come from if you’re passionate about something,
you can achieve it.
