Everyone’s talking about cybersecurity, but where do you begin? With our free, online mentorship and certificate programme for women, you’ll be empowered with the knowledge, in-demand skills and supportive community to help advance your career in tech’s fastest-growing field.
Through this initiative, we are offering scholarships and support to empower 1000 women to successfully complete the Google Cybersecurity Career Certificate, equipping them with the necessary skills to confidently enter and thrive in the cybersecurity workforce.

Call for Mentors
We are looking for experienced mentors to guide and inspire 1000 women learners from disadvantaged backgrounds across Europe, pursuing the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate. Your expertise can make a lasting impact!
Mentorship has a profound impact on learners’ lives by providing guidance, support, and role models. Mentors contribute to higher completion rates in education, inspire personal and professional growth, and offer real-world insights beyond academic knowledge.
Starting a cybersecurity career is not always easy and we face some obstacles, and challenges along the road. We also know that you not only made it through but you thrived! Your guidance, support, and expertise will make a difference in someone’s life. The commitment is minimal but the satisfaction of making a difference in people’s lives is invaluable!
What we expect from Mentors:
- Commit to the 6-month programme
- Meet with an assigned cohort of 10 mentees in a virtual setting once a month
- Meet if requested by students for one-on-one mentoring sessions (These sessions are only offered every two months and are contingent on students completing the first three certification courses; The estimate is that approximately 3 mentees per cohort will request a one-on-one session. If more do, additional support will be provided).
- Participate in periodic surveys.
Ideal Mentor:

Women or men working within the cybersecurity industry, with more than 3 years of experience in the field.

Based in Geographical Europe.

Excellent command of English. We are also looking for French and Spanish speakers.

Willing to dedicate their time to help women advance their cybersecurity career (commitment to meet at least once a month with the assigned cohort of mentees.

Participant to the Programme
After being rejected from different bootcamps due to requirement’s criteria, I thought It would be impossible for me to find the support to be able to get into the industry. Luckily, I found the organisation Women4Cyber and it really is life-changing. The course is well organised, flexible, easy to follow and very practical which makes me more confident to succeed in the interview process. The project includes a free mentorship programme that helps you navigating through the struggles of learning new skills. I’m currently taking the course and I’m feeling very positive about the future and the new opportunities in Cyber Security. I encourage everyone who is new to the tech industry to apply. It’s beginner friendly and you have a tons of support programmes as well as practical activities and very interactive courses.

Am I Eligible?
This program will be made available to 1,000 candidates across our 5 focus countries.
The Google Cybersecurity Certificate is available in English, Spanish & French. For those taking it in English, we recommend applicants have sufficient English-language proficiency (B2) to ensure they can complete the program.
